Home Church Church Welcome
God Bless all visitors to this website.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, I would like to welcome all of you and offer you the blessings of our Archbishop Gregorios.

Orthodoxy has frequently stressed the Pauline exhortation of ‘pray without ceasing' (Thessalonians 5,17). This could be done in the home, at work, during play, and even during sleep. There is the small prayer which is very easily learned by all "ΚΥΡΙΕ ΙΗΣΟΥ ΧΡΙΣΤΕ, ΕΛΕΗΣΟΝ ΜΕ". Then there is the reply of our Lord Jesus Christ when The Apostles ask HIM to teach them how to pray. This was to instruct them with the words ‘OUR FATHER'. Words that have become the best known of all to all Christians as the The Lords prayer.

The Church services are conducted both in Greek and English to allow a better understanding of the Divine Liturgy both to non Greeks and to second and third generation Greeks. On the Second Saturday of the month the Service is celebrated fully in English 7.30am-10.30 am. On the Third Saturday Divine Liturgy is Celebrated in English at the Chapel of the University of Hull 10.00am -11.30am.

In closing this short welcoming I would like to remind you that I am always available to discuss all your pastoral needs. You are all welcome to visit the Church. You can also e-mail me, if you wish. I wish you all many Happy Orthodox Christian years. I pray to the One and only GOD for your Health and salvation.
